Flashing at Foyles and other exposures…

NFFD - June Bristol eventSome super-nice stuff has happened in the past few weeks, which you might be interested in. Let see…

I was longlisted in the National Flash Fiction Day Micro-fiction competition with my story At the seams. It didn’t make the final list, but considering it’s only 100 words, I’m glad to have made an impression.

I also had some lovely news that I was voted ‘Author of the month’ at Short Story Sunday for my story Moonquake. I am SO chuffed about this because people (probably more than two) actually voted for it! I’m really looking forward to getting the latest Unthology edition and will no doubt spend my voucher on more books – probably a short story one. I’ve had my eye on Angela Readman’s Don’t try this at home for a little while now.

Oh, and I’ll be doing a reading this month for National Flash Fiction day in Bristol – details here. Still haven’t decided on what I’m going to read, but it’s a great line-up of writers who will be flashing at Foyles. Should be good! So come along.

That’s all for now folks! I should really get back to editing my novel…  O_O
